A collection of successful R01 applications is now available to view on the The UCLA Clinical and Translational Science Institute grant library. This library has samples of multiple types of successful applications and is available to UCLA and CTSI affiliates as a free service. Anyone who wishes to request access to the library must first submit a brief online request. Once access is granted, the system is available to users for six months with the option to renew before the access expiration date. 

Sample application types include:

  • F32 Applications
  • K01 Applications
  • K08 Applications
  • K23 Applications
  • K24 Applications
  • K99/R00 Applications
  • U54 Applications
  • NIH Biosketches (2015 version)
  • R01 Applications
  • Additional R01, R21 and R21/33 Applications*

For those unfamiliar with submitting requests online with UCLA CTSI, a step-by-step video is available to provide assistance with the request process.


* The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases provides copies of successful grant applications which are posted on the UCLA CTSI sample grants webpage and can be viewed without need for an online request.
