Background:
Earl obtained his BS in Sociology and his MPH in Health Policy & Management from Texas A&M University. Prior to his time at UCLA, Earl was selected as a Texas Public Health Fellow for the Texas Department of State Health Services granting him experience in research and intervention on Tuberculosis cases. Earl’s interests for doctoral research focuses on the relationship between the application of big data analytics and machine learning with how they correlate to healthcare delivery and health outcomes in an environment where health disparities among various racial/ethnic minorities and other disadvantaged populations exist. Earl plans on pursuing a career spearheading efforts to develop accessible, equitable, and efficiently managed healthcare systems.
