My research focuses on the drivers of poor uptake of lung cancer screening. I have a health services research background, and my work leverages electronic medical record data combined with qualitative data to identify the predictors of lung cancer screening access and adherence, and the patient, provider, and healthcare system level factors associated with improved access and adherence. My work focuses both on the UCLA patient population and the Veterans Affairs Healthcare System population, where I hold a dual appointment.
