Cedars-Sinai's Master's Degree in Health Delivery Science (MHDS) program is now accepting applications for 2020-2021

The admissions process of the MHDS is competitive and considers students who demonstrate exceptional potential to succeed in graduate study. The admissions committee is seeking students who have a high level of academic achievement, including an excellent grasp of empirical and social sciences.

Who Should Apply?
The MHDS degree is for professionals seeking to develop foundational skills and knowledge in health delivery science with an aim to become leaders in healthcare organizations. Many of our students are already healthcare professionals who seek to expand their influence within and beyond their organizations.

The program is ideal for those who may be considering a more traditional degree in public health, yet want deeper exposure to modern analytic techniques and applied skills; or for students contemplating an MBA who are interested in the business of healthcare delivery.

The program is also well suited for pre-health students who seek additional gap year experience in healthcare before starting an MD, RN, PharmD or other clinical degree.

Requirements
Completed online application, personal statement, letters of recommendation (minimum of two). Additional requirements are detailed on the MHDS application page. Letters must be sent directly to the MHDS admission office or emailed to gradprogram@csmc.edu from the person writing the letter.

Some experience in healthcare delivery, on any level, is highly desirable, although a prescribed amount of experience is not necessary. The quality of the experience, as well as student involvement, is more important than a certain amount of time spent working in a healthcare setting.

Tuition and Assistance
The program cost is $600/credit hour. Employees of Cedars-Sinai health system eligible for Cedars-Sinai's tuition assistance program may receive up to $15,750 in assistance.

We also provide a limited number of academic scholarships each year for highly meritorious individuals from both within and outside of Cedars-Sinai.
