Phase 1 Trials
Phase 1 Center - Developmental Therapeutics and Gene Therapy
To support higher-need clinical trials, the CTSI has established a dedicated Phase 1 Center for studies as well as gene and cellular therapy trials. Among the highlighted services, the center provides:
- A core facility with IBC
- Special rates
- Tailored services (information coming soon!)
- Research nurses and medical assistants with additional education and certifications in biosafety level 2, gene therapies and cellular therapies
- Expanded access hours, evenings, weekends and overnight stays to accommodate intensive pharmacokinetic sampling
- Mobile research services for those subjects that require inpatient hospitalization
- A dedicated study activation team provides navigation through the complexity of assessing feasibility, budgeting, coverage analysis and regulatory compliance
