Panelists: Nina Harawa, PhD, MPH, Professor of Medicine - GIM&HSR, UCLA; Chandra Ford, PhD, Professor of Behavioral, Social, and Health Education Sciences (Rollins School of Public Health) and African American Studies
Session description: Informal session for panelists to share lessons learned along the way in managing research projects including budget and staff oversight as well as completing data collection-analysis to publication/presentations, navigating career decisions, publishing in general and also in Public Health. For example, Dr. Harawa will talk about How to and Not to Change Your Aims after You are Funded. The remaining time is open to the group for interactive Q&A discussion.
