CTSI KL2 co-leader, Elizabeta Nemeth, receives ASH Honorific award
UCLA CTSI congratulates Dr. Elizabeta Nemeth for her 2021 AHS Award
The American Society of Hematology announced Elizabeta Nemeth, PhD, professor of medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, director of the UCLA Center for Iron Disorders, and UCLA CTSI co-leader for the KL2 Program, has been awarded with the William Dameshek Prize for her outstanding work to understand the regulation of iron homeostasis.
The Honorific Awards recognize exemplary hematologists who have made significant contributions to the field and have been nominated by ASH members.
