Judith Gasson, PhD, professor emerita honored for mentoring trainees, colleagues
Judith Gasson, PhD, professor emerita and senior advisor to the David Geffen School of Medicine for Research and Innovation at UCLA, has been awarded the 2020 American Society of Hematology Basic Science Mentor Award for her contributions to mentoring numerous hematology trainees throughout her career.
As senior associate dean for research at UCLA and an associate director of the UCLA CTSI, Dr. Gasson shared in the CTSI mission and vision of catalyzing research that translates discoveries into tangible improvements in health care, disease prevention, and health in our community.
