UC BRAID Discusses systemwide

More than 100 faculty and staff attended the sixth annual retreat of the University of California Biomedical Research Acceleration, Integration and Development (UC BRAID), a consortium of the CTSAs at UC Davis, Irvine, Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco. The meeting, hosted by UC Davis, focused on new, shared infrastructure to speed clinical research. 

Topics discussed at the Oct. 16 meeting included precision medicine, cohort-finding tools and recruitment, IRB reliance, child health research, and biobanking.
