UCLA magazine’s 'anatomy of a vaccine’ highlights CTSI-supported COVID-19 research
No challenge has gripped the world’s attention more forcefully over the past year than the search for a COVID-19 vaccine. UCLA Magazine speaks with doctors on the front lines who are helping the world combat the deadly virus.
The article includes efforts by CTSI leaders and funded investigators, including Drs. Daniel Geschwind, Bogdan Pasaniuc and Brigitte Gomperts, plus the research and community outreach to diverse populations for CTSI-supported vaccine trials at partner institutions such as the AstraZeneca trial being held at Lundquist/Harbor-UCLA and UCLA Westwood.
