Project Title/Research Interests: Development of Pediatric IVIG & Rituximab Ordersets, Neonatal Handoff Design in CareConnect, nSOFA Development & Implementation, Fluoride Varnish Clinical Decision Support

Background:
Dr. Paul Lukac completed his Clinical Informatics Fellowship at UCLA Health. Dr. Lukac previously completed a residency in Pediatrics at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and then practiced for three years as an Attending Hospitalist at Lurie Children’s Hospital. He graduated from the UCLA Anderson School of Management with a Master of Business Administration. At UCLA Anderson, he focused on data analytics in both healthcare and business, worked for a machine-learning based health tech start-up and completed a hospital administration internship at the Office of Health Informatics and Analytics at UCLA Health. As a fellow, Dr. Lukac focused on clinical decision support and cost reduction. His research interests include predictive analytics, machine-learning and regression discontinuity in healthcare.
