Research Methods/Statistical Unit (RMSU) (Charles R. Drew University)
The Research Methods/Statistical Unit (RMSU) at Charles R. Drew University’s Institute for Advanced Biomedical Research (IABR) provides investigators with epidemiological and statistical analysis services for research studies.
The RMSU team provides consultation and technical assistance to investigators on project development, implementation, reporting, and dissemination in the following areas:
- Research specific aims and hypothesis
- Study approach and study design
- Sampling, and sample size and power analysis
- Instrument development and evaluation of data collection
- Development of statistical analysis plan
- Development of plan for data collection
- Development and design of database
- Randomization lists
- Survey sampling and complex sample
