Now enrolling: New professional development opportunity for UCLA CTSI Researchers and Partners
Most research teams are built around scientific expertise — not team coordination. The result is invisible: failed cllaborations, stalled grants, and talented researchers spending more time managing dysfunction than doing the work they were trained to do.
We are launching a new, free professional development program available to researchers at UCLA CTSI and partner institutions, including Charles Drew University, Cedars-Sinai, and Lundquist Institute/Harbor-UCLA. This initiative is funded through the UCLA Clinical and Translational Science Institute, and includes offers to three unique, evidence-backed 10-week programs:
Research Career Accelerator (RCA) — for early-to-mid career researchers wanting to strategize and build a sustainable career infrastructure
Proposal Prep Challenge (PPC) — for PIs actively preparing grant submissions, but want support prioritizing this effort before Fall deadlines
Scientific Lab Accelerator (SLA) — for lab PIs and team leads building operating systems that run more efficiently and innovatively.
Each program includes online curriculum (asynchronous), 2 individual meetings, accompanying learning materials, and efforts are underway to provide an ACTS-recognized digital team science credential.
There is no cost to UCLA CTSI participants and partners. Enrollment closes soon for the cohort launch in late March and early April.
