Data day showcases UCLA health data assets
On May 9, 2019, UCLA Health Information Technology (UCLA Health IT) and UCLA CTSI hosted UCLA Health Data Day. The goal of Data Day was to highlight UCLA Health's Data analytics and research compute capabilities that are now available to help analysts, researchers and other stakeholders across the organization gain new insights from our data assets.
Presentations and recordings from the event are now available at the UCLA Health Data Day webpage.*
CTSI speakers at Data Day included Dr. Steven Dubinett, director of the UCLA CTSI, Dr. Dan Geschwind, program leader of the CTSI precision health program, Dr. Douglas Bell, program leader of the CTSI informatics program and Dr. Alex Bui, co-leader of the CTSI informatics program. The event concluded with a panel discussion on the future of data analytics at UCLA and across UC Health.
