The 6th Annual UCLA MedTech Partnering Conference hosted by UCLA Technology Development Group (TDG) was held on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at the California NanoSystems Institute at UCLA. The conference provided a unique opportunity for the 232 inventors, investors, and industry representatives in attendance to establish new relationships for furthering innovation while learning about recent developments from some of Southern California's leading research institutions. 

The conference included welcome remarks by Roger Wakimoto, vice chancellor of research at UCLA, and a keynote presentation by Johnese Spisso, president of UCLA Health and CEO of the UCLA Hospitals and Clinical System, during which she spoke on the translation of innovations in patient care at UCLA Health.

Conference highlights included startup pitch sessions, 46 networking meetings, and industry and venture capital panels. Industry panelists represented Medtronic, SetPoint Medical, Magstim Group, and Cala Health and venture capital panelists were from Arkitekt Ventures, New Enterprise Associates, Truffle Capital, Action Potential VC, and Johnson & Johnson Innovation.
