New NCATS resources highlight traits of translational scientists
NIH's National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) and other members of Translation Together, a group of organizations focused on advancing the understanding of translational science, published a consensus paper to raise awareness of translational science as a discipline and identify the unique set of skills translational scientists use to move medical discoveries into treatments and cures. NCATS also created an educational video about translational science geared toward current and potential trainees.
See the new Translational Science Skills webpage to read the paper and watch the video.
