Project Title/Research Interests: Development and Clinical Implementation of a Digital Health Tool to Increase Patient Access to Anti-Poverty Public Benefits

Background:
Patty Liu is pursuing is MD/PhD at UCLA with a focus on Medical Informatics. He previously earned his MPH at the University of Washington where he was also a fellow at the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) where he focused on estimating access to and equitable coverage of child vaccination and maternal health services. His research interests are in contributing to building learning health systems that improve cross-sector access to the social safety net, and delivery of upstream health services that improve life course health equity.
