UCLA CTSI announces an intent to issue RFAs for three funding opportunities. 

CTSI, in partnership with the AIDS Institute, plans to competitively award two to three Team Science Awards of $25,000 to $50,000 for pilot projects focused on international (developing country) prevention, clinical and policy research for HIV/AIDS. A Letter of Intent will be required. An RFA with full details will issue in August.

CTSI plans to competitively award vouchers for core services this fall. Vouchers are worth up to $10,000 in core services.  An RFA with full details will issue in September

In January, CTSI will issue an RFA for KL2 Translational Scholar Awards. The KL2 is open to junior faculty from basic science, clinical research and health services research. Awardees receive salary support up to $75,000 a year for 75% effort to pursue interdisciplinary, mentored research with training. The award also provides benefits and up to $25,000 for research, $4,000 for tuition and career development, $2,000 for travel and $1,500 for statistical support one year. It is renewable for three years.
