Organization for Cultural Diversity in Science (OCDS)

The Organization for Cultural Diversity in Science strives to create a close-knit community among the undergraduate students, graduate students, post-docs, and staff scientists in the sciences, with an emphasis in increasing cultural diversity at UCLA. The OCDS projects a positive portrayal of underrepresented groups in the sciences to prospective high school and college students, the public at large, and the academic and scientific community. OCDS aims to provide networking and outreach opportunities to our members to support them in their ultimate career goals.
